How Stash’s Diets to Your Door Works

It starts with a phone call to Bobby Dubin at 847-432-6550. You will discuss your weight loss goals and he'll answer all your questions. Once you choose the plan that is right for you, simply click on "Weekly Menus" on this web site and choose your favorite selection for each meal and your favorite two selections for each snack.  If you don't have access to the internet or if you want coaching in the process, Kent will help you with your choices.

We create the meals and deliver them on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. The food can be heated in the microwave containers provided, or you can warm them on a cooktop. They are perfectly balanced providing the right combination of food to healthfully lose your weight and learn how to eat right forever.

You will begin to understand proper portion size as well as perfect food combinations and ideas so you know how to mantain your weight loss and make the right choices even when eating out.

Meals will be delivered 3-4 times per week in insulated cartons. If no one is home to accept them, meals will be left on the porch, with a pre-specified neighbor or in a building lobby per pre-arranged instructions.

Meals can simply be heated in a microwave in the containers provided.

Why It Works

Sign up for Stash’s Diets to Your Door and we send you 3 meals and 2 snacks a day. Its all the food you need to eat in order to maintain your lean body mass and lose body fat. Our diet is compatible with The South Beach Diet, The Zone and Atkins. We will tailor it to your special needs based on the science behind those diets as well as your reaction thereof. We will work individually with you as much as you would like in order to make the correct food selections and when desired, understand the psychology and motivation behind dieting.

No longer do you need to plan your meals or shop for them. The temptation is taken away which makes the dieting process much easier. You don’t need to fuss with numbers and details because we will do all of that for you.

The diet is all about hormonal balance. When your body is functioning properly and your blood sugar is balanced, almost all your food cravings will go away along with mood swings, fatigue and distraction. Instead, you will feel in control, even keeled, energetic and focussed.

Questions

When and how is the food delivered?

It is delivered in insulated containers with ice packs on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. The food delivered on Monday is to be eaten on Tuesday and Wednesday, etc. You will simply put the food into a refrigerator and send back the container on the next food delivery.

How do I pick my food?

We have two menu items to choose from for each meal and three items to choose from for the day's snacks. When you begin, you can go over your menu with our staff in order to learn more about each selection, make your choices on this web site by clicking on "Weekly Menus" or it can be sent to you and you can simply circle your preferences and fax it to 847-816-0758.

What if I am going away?

Simply let us know 2 days in advance and we will stop your food and resume it when you call to let us know when you are back in time.

What if I am going out to dinner? What do I do with the food?

Most items (excluding salads) can be frozen and used at a later date. Often, family members of friends are thrilled to get them, too.

What is the cancellation policy?

Meals can be put on hold at anytime with two days notice with no charge. There is $100.00 cancellation fee and charges will revert to the plan that fits the amount of time you received the food. There is a lot of man hours, time, planning and ordering involved which is why we need to charge the cancellation fee.

Basic Rules for Success

1. Always eat within one hour of waking.

2. A meal lasts approximately 4 hours and a snack lasts approximately 1-2 hours. Be conscious of the times you are eating!

3. Drink 8 eight ounce glasses of water everyday.

4. All meals that are meant to be hot can be warmed in the microwave, sautéed on top of the cook top or baked. Sautéing is best for full flavor. Don’t over heat in the microwave, as it can dry the food. Each microwave is different so warming instructions are different. Experiment by starting with 45 seconds of warming, then test your food.

5. You will receive an invoice at the beginning of the week. Keep that and refer to it so you know what extras come with which meals (such as fruit or a side salad), as well as your menu for the week.

6. To order your food for the following week, go to Diets To Your Door.com, then to menus and order by Wednesday night for the following week. If your menu isn’t in by Wednesday, we will make the selections for you.

7. We do not add salt. You may add salt or other spices such as hot sauce and mustard if you’d like and if you check with your Doctor. Ketchup and barbecue sauce are high in carbohydrates, so its better not to add those.

8. Monthly seminars are offered. Attend for knowledge and information and therefore, increased success.

9. Limit yourself to one cup or less of caffeine per day.

10. Delivery times vary.

11. Weigh yourself the day you start so we can track success and make adjustments as necessary.
